Shoreline ; Imachar

A beautiful early autumn day. Continuing our 'chilling' week, we drove over to the west coast, noticing the changing palette of colours, to brown bracken , gold grasses , red rowan berries and the purple of heathers above Machrie Moor.

A delicious lunch at Cafe Thyme and timee to sit by the shore and read our books .... although in the comfort of the car, sheltered from the brisk breezes of the Kilbrannan Sound.

Warmer on return to the cottage's wee sun trap; squeezing every bit of warmth out of the day!.
