Two Minutes Late

Over the last few weeks I have been hoping to sight the kingfisher that has been putting in appearances at the nature reserve. Today I cycled down there and made my way towards the hide. I caught a glimpse of him sitting on a branch about 20 feet in front of the hide. Before I could get my camera out of the bag he had flown away. If only I had been a few minutes earlier. Ah well, at least I got to see him.
