Today we started early with a trek around Grizedale forest. We tried to stop for lunch at the Drunken Duck but it was ridiculously busy and when reading reviews on Trip Advisor I'm glad we didn't. We opted for a wonder around the very familiar village of Ambleside and had lunch in Dodds restaurant which was a delight. We finished off our day by buying a few gifts and cake by the lake at our apartment.
