The remnants of history

The mug is old - 30 years? - A daft gift from my sister on her return from taking her now-41-yr-old daughter to Disneyland. The hand-drawn animation evidence of a skill not quite passed into history as digital animation takes over.

The biscuit is merely old-fashioned, but in a time of political change, it is interesting to see the very political history behind this apparently simple Scottish treat.
