Day one of this year's long distance walk - close to home as we are finding it increasingly difficult to pin down the free days and weekends.

Good to see the very fine new bridge again.

It was interesting to walk from the oldest towards the newest road crossing across the Forth.

Also to consider the global shift from the filthy but necessary coal-fired power stations like Longannet to the solar panels we saw on a number of houses we passed.
