Roll out the barrel

Six go on Distillery Tour.
Hic
Actually - I was a "driver" and so was Technophobe, so they packaged up our tasters to imbibe chez nous. There were Nikonabike and myself, Technophobe, LooseCanon, and friends G and P.
The barrels store whisky which has to be laid down for a minimum of 3 years and 1 day. Whilst they have been waiting for the first batch of whisky, they have been busy making gin - plus all sorts of "extras" such as a Gin-Sherry and a Cotswoldavos (similar to a Calvados but made - guess where.)
My extra is the beautiful (and very expensive) contraption that they use to distil the gin - I'm afraid I've forgotten its name (they all have names).
It was an excellent tour if ever you find yourselves at a loose end in the area - Cotswolds Distillery, Stourton (booking in advance recommended).
Afterwards we went for a pub lunch followed by a walk so the non-drivers could come down to earth.
