Underneath the arches

This is the stunning Acueducto del Águila near Nerja, in Andalucia.

Along the sides of the valley that it crosses are caves in which people have made homes. There are also people living here in shacks and motor homes.

It was slightly eerie walking along and taking pictures in this peaceful spot knowing that there were probably many pairs of eyes watching my every step.
