Flower Friday

I spent some time today in the butterfly habitat at Springs Preserve here in Las Vegas.  Biker Bear and ShirleyRay were there just a couple of days ago, so thanks for the tip.  I was delighted to get my first butterfly shots of the season, although I found I was a bit rusty at first, but then this orange beauty landed on this yellow flower with the blazing pink azalea in the background......Took a couple of hundred shots and got only a few keepers, which is just about my usual yield for butterflies.

Thanks to everyone for all the lovely comments, stars and hearts for my Desert Bighorn Sheep yesterday.  So delighted that it made it to page one.
