Beneath the Bougainvillea

I took a quick turn around my husband's cousin's yard this morning thinking I might see an anole, iguana or even a squirrel and I could get my blip squared away for the day. But it was not meant to be.  I did notice this colorful pile of leaves and petals beneath one of the bushes and as I am sure you have surmised,  I will take a picture of just about anything.  We set out shortly afterward for the first 8 hour day of driving and didn't arrive in Charleston until just after dark.  So, ..... this is all I've got.
