An afternoon excursion to plan a walk for inclusion in our Ramblers summer programme.

Starting in Camelon I then took the River Carron footpath towards New Carron (see extra photo) and continued into Cobbleland Community Woodland before returning on another path along the river to the car park.

It was a good round trip of just under 8km (ideal for our Tuesday walks) and, even better, it was carried out in bright, warm sunshine. Hard to believe we were out walking in a snowstorm just four days ago!

Despite the beautiful weather overhead, this bit of street art in an underpass at New Carron Road caught my eye. There were a few others, so I'll try to remember these for emergency blips in the future!
