A CATASTROPHE !

Told you we haven't had rain for ages, & this cutting from yesterday's paper illustrates my story. Wanaka's famous willow tree has been left high & dry by the low level of Lake Wanaka !
It goes on to say "usually surrounded by water, the willow tree has become one of the must-see spots for tourists in the town & its image has been used to promote Wanaka around the world. "

So you see, not only does my garden need moisture, so does the 'waterless willow' !
