Navajo Bridge....

over the Colorado was built in 1927.  It is used as a walking bridge now because it can't carry the tonnage of today's vehicles.  As you look up and to the right of the picture, you can see where the river has cut a new canyon in the sandstone.  This was an incredible place to look up and down the river.
The extra is the traditional Navjao buildings used as the visitor center.  It is made out of sandstone rock and log.  This is all part of the Navajo reservation which is the 2nd extra.  We were standing in the upper left corner of the reservation.
Today has been very exciting, challenging, and tiring!  Can't wait for tomorrow, but first  a good nights sleep.
