Mother's Day
This seems to have become a big occasion in this country now. And it does seem reasonable to celebrate motherhood, although all year would be good, but one day is a start.
We met Emma and Andy at a convenient half-way point and had a great afternoon at the stateliest of homes, in fact palatial. We took a walk from the house to the Cascades and here I took a picture of Ann and our two offspring. Understandably the bridge was busy but I managed to get the falls withour other photographers in the picture.
I would offer a prize for guessing where we went, but it's too easy. Extra is part of the formal gardens (could be a candidate for tomorrow's Mono Monday, faceless portrait, though it's not Mono! )
