This is ironic

I took this photo from a prep class. It was empty, and my friend was recording her YHP video for maths. And I took this from the unnamed, unbranded b&w photo app, and later realised it was for YHP too.

I waited for this picture. There is a ship that's hanging in between the branches, that ship was my focus. It isn't the focus of the photo, but I still waited for it to come a little bit forward (right for me & the photo) so that it'd exactly be in between the branches rather than just behind them. I do care about my photos, sometimes they really suck and you guys say it's nice, but this time I like it. I've been liking my photos recently. Mostly because I've been taking more of them, duh. It's a no brainer that I like them more.

When I left the window and returned to my friend and watched her voiceover her maths video, I realised how I enjoyed Blipfoto. I really do. I realised it as my friend was pushing her deadlines, and I realised that I was combining two things that I absolutely love: Photography and Writing. I hope I'll continue next year, with starting daily uploads on my instagram and at least weekly here. A bit ambitious, but it does give me the satisfaction of production, so there's nothing really to lose.
