Strathconon

For a free weekend and weather like this to coincide I felt blessed. Off to Strathconon for my first visit. 

I did the horseshoe round of two Corbetts, Meallan nan Uan and Sgurr Mhuillin, punctuated by two Corbett tops to the norwest. It was very windy on top, so not a day for lazing on the summits but the views were incredible and made up for the discomfort. Here is the view looking back to the ascent ridge from summit of the 1st top. 

Overnight I camped at the road end near Scardroy. Temperatures dropped to below freezing.
