Filey

Another very wet morning here in Yorkshire. The rain never stopped all morning, and it was very heavy too.

We had a morning in the caravan. Kerr did some crafts with empty cereal boxes, felt tip pens, glue and scissors. This kept him amused for a long time, while kerrsdaddy and I managed to read some of our books between helping with the crafts.

Thankfully it dried up mid afternoon so we trip in to the town centre. I wanted to get some chocolates from Bonnet's (a lovely chocolate shop in Scarborough). We had a look in Waterstone's and a couple of other shops too before taking a drive to Filey.

It was rather windy and also high tide when we reached Filey. We got ice creams and wandered along the sea front. We also put some pennies in the 2p slot machines, but didn't manage to win very many back!

We found an excellent fish and chip shop a few villages along from where our caravan site is, so treated ourselves to haddock and chips and ate them in a local swing park. Yum!
