Charlie the donkey

Today we were very pleased that the sun was shining for our last full day of our holiday.

We walked through Peasholm Park and went to visit a family friend who I've not seen for many years. Unfortunately we found out from her neighbours that she is currently in hospital so were unable to see her, although we did pass on some flowers for her and our get well wishes.

Kerr bought a new bucket and spade on our way back along to the beach, and spent a couple of hours digging with kerrsdaddy and also looking in rock pools. We had our picnic lunch on the beach, then Kerr went on his first every donkey ride. The one he chose was called Charlie. It seemed to be a success, although Kerr complained that it wasn't a long enough ride! I tend to agree with him, they don't get very far for £2.50!

We took a drive to the RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs near Bridlington this afternoon. Kerr fell asleep in the car, so I waited with him while Kerrsdaddy went and did a spot of bird watching. We then all went in the visitor centre and Kerr drew a picture.
