What a beautiful evening!

The weather was overcast and chilly all day but look at the evening it made way for...a peach of an evening no less!

The sun is shining and the skies are a hazy kind of blue. It made for a real treat of a stroll! I'm about to start my marking and I can leave my curtains open to enjoy the scene of the valley a wee while longer...not dark yet! :-)

Oh and my favourite piece of writing so far this week, based on Stuck by Oliver Jeffers..."he threw his favourite blue shoes to get his friends dick out of the tree"...see extra!
