I decided to head to Bempton today - yesterday there were about three thousand puffins on the cliffs. Unfortunately today they were all out at sea!

As I stood and watched the gannets distantly collecting grass from the clifftops to line their nests, this chap landed just a few yards from me and gathered a good beakful for himself!
