You have to wonder.....

It's Wednesday, so the Haltwhistle walkers were out in force for a 10 mile walk from Slaley village. Jennifer had a good route for us and we squelched our way over fields and through woods.

As we approached this field wall, we stopped to wonder "why" this bra was on the barbed wire. It is, of course, a total mystery.

After the walk, we had a convivial 45 minutes in the Rose and Crown in Slaley village. It is a community run pub with a good selection of real ales.

Tonight, it's catch up TV. I hope I stay awake.
