Jane and Rob

Today's the day ..................... to go out to supper

What a lovely evening we have just had.

We were invited round to Jane and Rob's for a bit of supper - and a chat about their recent trip to Portugal.  We're off there soon ourselves and we were eager to find out where we should go to look for some of the fantastic flowers, butterflies and birds that they had seen. 

Of course, these two are experts and know exactly what to look for - so it was very helpful to look at the maps and see their pictures.  We're now armed with lots of guidebooks - and hope we can do justice to their good tuition.

This is them, next to one of the many paintings that hang in their house.  Rob's father was an artist and this is a forest in his native Canada.  Rob and Jane are off on an exciting trip there themselves later in the year ........................
