Sleepy Boys!

Another busy day at work and it was grey and wet, so I met Barbs at Patisserie Valerie for a drink and a catch up at lunch time.

When I got home, I cleaned out Sherbet's cage - he doesn't half make a mess for a little bird! It's very quick and easy to do though and I do it every 3 days.

I read that canaries like to have a bath, but I've tried putting a bowl of water in his cage a few times but he's never been interested. However, tonight once I'd cleaned him out he seemed to be splashing water on himself from his water bottle! So I quickly got him a bowl of water and put it in his cage and he immediately got in it. He had lots of fun splashing around, and then spent ages preening and flapping his wings to dry his feathers. Hopefully that's a sign that he's starting to feel more settled.

He still doesn't like it when I put my hand in the cage but I'll keep trying, and then in a couple of weeks we'll let him out for his free flight!

Anyway, I hadn't taken any photos today, other than a video of Sherbie's bath time, and then before we went to bed, the boys looked so cute curled up together, I quickly took this with my phone.
