Cowslip

Up to the allotment again - trimmed a bit of grass, dug up more weeds, fed the little blighters, sowed some seeds. It was a dull old day, but the cowslip really brightened things up. This is the, ahem, supposed wildflower area, but it's mostly grass. I suppose grass is indeed wild, even if its flowers are a bit insignificant. Ooh look, there's a fritillary just in the frame, bottom left, that I didn't notice till I looked at the photo.
