Finally!

After one failed attempt that started in January, I finally have a flowering amaryllis :) it looks wonderful in the kitchen, and the rest of my house is really enjoying it. Two of the four flowers are out, and hopefully the other two will come soon! 

In other great news, I have finally finished a deadline I have been working on solidly since Saturday. I had to hand in the methods and results sections of my rotation report before my supervisor goes on holiday tomorrow, so I've been really busy trying to finish it in time. Tomorrow I am going to take the day off and hopefully go on a bike ride to celebrate :)
