An apple a day

This blip is not for the squeamish, it is one of the windfalls from our apple tree, which seems to be a tasty treat for most of the fly population in the garden. On closer inspection I was quite fascinated to see all the different colours that the flys made in the sunlight. The apples always seem to fall from that tree before they are completely ripe, which is very frustrating.

I feel much better today after a reasonable nights sleep, at least I know which way is up today. Loving this sunshine!
