Sensational Shortbread!

A few weeks ago I posted an image of my first batch of Sam's Sensational Shortbread.  Well today was a very exciting one for Sam, CCN and the Wombat.  It was the launch of the Blackheath Primary School Cookbook and Sam's recipe was one of those featured in the book "Nourish".  I have to tell you, the book is absolutely wonderful.  The imagery is tremendous and I do believe that some of our Blackheath Blippers have contributed in no small way to the book.

It's a great initiative and Sam and the team who produced the book have worked very hard over a couple of years to pull it all together.  There was a great atmosphere at the school this afternoon.  The local member of parliament launched the book and everyone, particularly the children were super excited.  I just love it when a project like this comes to fruition.  Let's hope they can sell every single copy and have to do another print run.  The proceeds will go to the school and knowing this particular school, those funds will be put to very good use.
