A Favourite Place

This has been my favourite place for the last few years.  Some of those of who follow me may know that I have a bit of an obsession with sea glass. This the the beach I collect it from. It must be the particular combination of tides and orientation and situation that mean that the glass is mostly very smoothed and worn and plentiful. So today I spent a very enjoyable 30--45 minutes collecting a pail full of it and this is a sample.  There are also sea worn bits of pottery.  I am currently making a stained glass panel which incorporates sea glass.  It's very experimental but I am hopeful it will work.

So, a definite possible entry for this week's WBC 'A FAVOURITE PLACE'.
