Inverness Blipmeet Day 3!!

Another great day in the far north! Today Houseonahill6's husband joined us, and very kindly drove us further afield, on a scenic road trip. Despite the forecast, we were very lucky with the weather and the rain held off until the afternoon, which meant it was dry for our official Blipmeet pic, kindly taken on my camera by K's hubbie, under my very bossy directions!! (Sorry M!)

- Drove to Dores on the southern shore of Loch Ness and walked along the beach
- Delicious lunch at The Dores Inn
- Drove up into the hills, past small lochs, sheep and cattle, with distant views of snow-capped mountains
- Drove back to Inverness and on to North Kessock where we spotted more dolphins!
- Drove along the shores of the Beauly Firth (we waved Baron!), stopping off at Redcastle, but sadly no Red Squirrels to be seen
- Back in Inverness, said a sad farewell to K and M
- Quick spot of last minute Scottish souvenir shopping!
- A much needed nap! Been enjoying too much of the Scottish high life!!
- A fun time packing, trying to squeeze all those mementoes, (including several tons of pebbles!) into my hand luggage!

An early night beckons, and an early start tomorrow. I shall be heading to the airport at 7am! See you all back down south when I shall be able to catch up with your journals...
