Iconic

I was left minding the baby while Olivia went to school and the parents went to IKEA. That was followed by a site visit to the refurb which caused a 'difficult and, for me, uncomfortable situation' later in the day. Least said.

Lunch was over in Chamomile where WH's grandmother and 3 of the 10 aunts were visiting. #11 has just come back from a trekking holiday in Nepal. Many pics. The grandmother is amazing. A tiny soul in a wheelchair, nearly 95 and mother to 13 children!

The rest of the afternoon was quiet. See above. It was also incredibly humid today and a wee storm so no swimming.

And then my evening out. An hour taxi drive via Damansara for some reason to KLCC, 9k away. A cockatail and a burger then rhe concert at Dewan Filharmonik Petronas. It was excellent.

The water fountains were all lit up and playing in the KLCC park. The KL tower was reflected in the water at the front. Very pretty but no time to linger. Bit more of a challenge getting a taxi home but eventually I got an Uber and was home in 20 minutes!

This is the first time I've been out on my own at night in 6 years of visiting KL!
