From the vantage point of the Baldongan Castle you have a three hundred and sixty view of the wider surrounding area including all of the coastline. Unfortunately, this view into the future didn't stop the ransacking of the church and castle by our Nordic Viking neighbours.... Sometimes seeing the future only gives us a sense of helplessness and a bludgeoning of faint hope.....just saying
