New awareness

It came back today in framing this blip . . . the stimulating thrill of playing with shapes and colours discovered around the block.

It's been a wee while since my shots have not been simply a capture of the scene in front of me. Today, I played a little in this open space (urban park, kids playground) in a cleared area in the Eixample barrio of Barcelona. The overnight downpour had presented attractive possibilities in the paving and a little creative juice for my day.
