A potter on the allotment after opening the girls - who still like to settle under the coop within their run! Home to finally oil the hallway floor that I had meant to do once the new cooker arrived. So I have had all the bits removed from there in my front room plus a side chinese style cabinet in my kitchen! From the hall I went into the front room to oil that floor as well - so everything moved onto the rug to add to the general chaos in that room. Then of course I had to leave it hours to dry! Milkshake was kept in the kitchen - not that she had any intention of leaving it nor I letting of her out! She because she was too tired from yesterdays adventure and me because I was too scared to let her do a repeat performance! I generally pottered and finally had a snooze on the sofa before going back up to put the girls to bed. I discovered the battery for the electric fence was flashing green and red but as it started to rain decided I would do it the following day. Later I suddenly wondered whether in fact the battery in the shed was charged or was the one I had replaced and meant to charge - given the state of the path bringing the car up had been too risky and it is very heavy battery and a wheelbarrow is not easy to get down the muddy path either! I have a feeling I forgot all about it needing charging! I will find out tomorrow!
Sister arrives tomorrow for her Birthday week - it's become a tradition for us to go to the Spring Flower festival at Boconnoc near Lostwithiel. I've only been once when it was sunny - Friend and sister who have been with me since have had rain, wind and very muddy shoes! We are forecast sun sunday so fingers crossed!
I may be more ineffectual at replying to comments and looking at Journals - apologies!
