Gently down the stream

South Terrace, Hinton Ampner

This is the south (I think) terrace at Hinton Ampner, a National Trust property near Winchester, shot taken in my very favourite kind of blipping weather - dark skies and bright sunshine.

This afternoon I had a lovely time there with Redflash.  Gorgeous tea and cake and a wander round the fantastic gardens.  There is a picture of her in Extras and one of the scarecrow and his dog who guard the veg patch.  The house itself is not very big, though staggeringly beautifully tricked out inside, but today we didn't get as far as going in.

Thank you, my dear, for a great afternoon x

And wishing you all an enjoyable evening  xx
