First Day Of Summer?

Thank you for all your support for yesterday's blip! I have forgiven my mum. And I have to say, it IS nice being clean and Mum is giving me extra cuddles, which is always a good thing!

Today was a beautiful, warm, sunny day. Mum decided to get the garden furniture set up for summer. This involves sliding the swing over to the other side of the garden from behind the garage, setting up the table and chairs and parasol and bringing the cushions for the swing down from the loft. I wasn't so sure that this was a good idea for Mum to do when she's not feeling in tip top shape, but she said it was just about doable, and after all, she'd rest on the swing all afternoon!

And that is what we did - we enjoyed the swing and snoozed and read. I snoozed and Mum read (still the book about the street cat). We even had a visit from our friend Rhod which was an extra treat. He helped by bringing out the chairs from their winter storage in the garage. So now we are ALL ready for summer!

Mum? When are we going to start camping? Soon? Please??

This evening we watched the 2 most recent episodes of Homeland with the lodger. Mum says she's not enjoying this series so much. What do others think?
