Fishing Boats

11.1C quite dull in the morning then sunny through the afternoon with some cloud. Light to moderate W/WNW/NW breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound almost made it to the alarm clock. We were up and out by 6.30am.

Apothecary7's day off.

This morning we went along to the Argyll country market which was in a hall at the back of the Heritage Centre today. We bought scones. The Heritage Centre was open again after winter and since we hadn't been in before we had a short visit and stopped for tea and gingerbread/pancake (jam and cream).

After a quick walk with Maeve then a scone, we went along to Aquilibrium for the next session of "The Raiders of the Lost Archive" which today went under the title of "The Picture House Collective". There were some laptops available to do research online and there was access to the archive of local newspapers on microfilm. Some good progress was made tracing some of the shareholders of the cinema including one of the directors. Colourful characters!

When we came home we took Maeve out for a wander along to the harbour to get a breath of fresh air and to cool down a bit as the room in Aquilibrium had been rather warm.
