'Spring at Merriments'

A really beautiful day. We had a drive to Hurst Green to visit Merriments Garden......a 4 acre garden we have been visiting on and off over eighteen years.......it even featured on Gardener's World a few years ago. Lots of Tulips and Blossom......I got the feeling that someone new has taken over...it was still lovely, but didn't have the same feel about it. Not many staff around otherwise I would have asked.

Home in time to watch the boat race...I felt sorry for the Oxford ladies who had a dodgy start...Cambridge girls enjoyed their lead throughout. Triumph for Oxford in the men's race!
