Cats and cake
Saturday day time was hard going but then it was on to the big smoke for something different; a visit to the Cat cafe as part of Edith's retirement shenanigans. I'd had a wee look in the windows at the cats (and the clientele, including playing spot the obliging boyfriend game), but I'd never ventured in before. The cake was more forthcoming than the cats, who were gorgeous but soooo quiet and subdued. I was hoping for a crazy cat moment, when they spontaneously run up a curtain or walk sideways with a raised Mohican like they've just seen a ghost. Or is it just my crazy cats that used to do that? Must be the chattering wifies in surgical footwear gloves that makes them shy.
Edith loves that place and was smiling big and wide but soon it was time to leave the smiling ladies to enjoy their food and drink celebrations and head back home to catch up with Tess.
