On Pontcysyllte Aqueduct

This morning the walking group went for a great walk from Trevor Basin near Llangollen. the photo is of us crossing Telford's Pontcysyllte Aqueduct which carries the Llangollen Canal over the River Dee. It's still the longest in Britain and the highest in the world and there are some great views from the towpath.
