Flood in the park

I went to U3A in the rain, I was doing teas and coffees so had to be there early. The caretaker hadn't realised that we were having a meeting so hadn't put chairs out or switched the urn on. We had to make drinks for around 100 people using two kettles. You can imagine the queue as we had to keep waiting for them to boil!

When I walked back through Cae Glas Park the rain had stopped and the sun had come out. The big flooded pool was testament to the rain and melted snow.

I'm off to a music session tonight so it will be a late night but an enjoyable evening.
