Crinkle Crags
The last time I walked from Bowfell to Crinkle Crags, then descended to Oxendale - it was August 1976 and England were being trounced by West Indies. Viv Richards scored a double hundred and Michael Holding took 14 wickets. No cricket this time, just wonderful views on a beautiful Lakeland day.
