Bottoms Up

We drove up to Hull today to spent a few days in my home town and take in some of the City of Cultural sights.  On the way up we stopped of at the North Cave Wetlands, a Yorkshire Wildlife Trust property converted from an old quarry.  There are many types of birds, mainly gulls and waterfowl, on the lakes with a great walk round the perimeter with hides placed around the edges.  The extra is a flock of gulls in flight.

After an hour or so there we carried on to our Airbnb flat on the Avenues in Hull.  We dumped our bags and went out for a walk round the local park and down Princes Avenue to find somewhere to eat and drink.  There is no shortage in this area.
