Orange - Day 2
Orange is a beautiful town, with lovely parks and handsome bungalows and villas.
Of course, not everybody wants to espalier their pears, or have the perfect topiarised hedge.
There are those, like the woman who lives here, who have different passions.
A neighbour told us that Isabel's statuary is tended daily, and that she can often be seen painting and cleaning her display.
There are two extras, on of a tightly clipped hedge, and the other of the sky at Molong, when we got off the bus which had taken us to the Hundred Mile Dinner under the stars, on the village green.
For the first time I can remember I took a dead battery with me to this wonderful event, and no spare, and therefore have no photos to show you.
The upside of that is that I was able to more fully enjoy the food, wine and friends,
