Monday: Blossoming

I worked from home today so that I could go with K. for her post-operative check-up. We also got the results of her biopsy.

So, it's not nothing, but it could be worse. To be honest, we had had our expectations managed from the start so we always knew it was going to be something. K. has follicular lymphoma, grade 1-2 (which equates to low grade and indolent). So, don't worry, the prognosis is good. And, as the doctor said, if you have to have any lymphoma, it's a decent one to have.

Next week we talk to another consultant about treatment.

The consultant who saw us today did say she was sorry not to be seeing us again as she found us very entertaining!
