Another sunny day, perhaps September is going to buck the trend of the summer so far.

In the garden early evening, the sun was turning leaves and foliage semi-transparent. As I (Chris) rooted around for a blip, a fly duly obliged sitting on the top of the leaf just in my eyeline, great!

Wednesday night means off road running. 6.39 miles in the Chilterns, fastest mile 8 minute 11 seconds although I reckon that was the last mile, downhill and in near darkness.

Annie has just submitted the final essay of her psychology degree - just the exam to go! And her tooth is a bit better: the world is looking up.
