Diversion

After having been to the hairdresser today I was on my way to John Lewis. I was on Union Street but I had to think twice about how I was going to get to John Lewis. Normally I would take the road in front of Marischal College, now almost entirely hidden behind the office block. That toad however has been closed permanently to cars, though not to buses or bicycles, so it has not been pedestrianised as such.

After some thought I opted for Union Terrace and Schoolhill. Probably not any longer in reality, it just made me pause for thought.
