Snatched

This view appears as pleasant as I thought at the time it might be - but if you look at the trees on the shore side of the road you'll see they're bent over. This is their permanent shape, and tells you the direction of the prevailing wind. Boy, was it prevailing today. I snatched this from under the hood I'd pulled up to save my ears, in between annoyingly squally showers that kept driving in on us - though the wind was so strong that it dried on contact. There's only one puddle to see.
