The Pony Pool

It's fairly clear who uses this little pool near the granite tramway from the prints around it. There were loads of ponies in the area this afternoon. There were quite a lot of people too. You could say that the world, his wife and their three dogs were there but that wasn't the worst of it from my point of view. 

As I got towards the disused quarry I could see that there was a horde of people nearby but they seemed to be coming out so I carried on and managed to get past these young people in unsuitable footwear who were crowding the path where it gets narrow going in. I carried on but blow me, there was another large group in the quarry. It's usually such a quiet place even when there are a lot of people around. Ah well, I believe that children are our future, teach them well ... I moved on through, headed straight out and picked up the tramway again.
