Ancient Hostelries

Our day has been punctuated by visits to a couple of lovely old pubs.
We travelled to St Ives this morning after a lazier start to the day. It was a bit cold and windy , hence the retreat to The Sloop for a quick lunch and warm up. Some shopping done and photos taken before heating back. The booking this evening was cancelled at the last minute and a fortunate decision to head to The Smuggler's Den where we were all , especially Bailey, made very welcome. Lovely food - we're going to need a big walk tomorrow!
