Cliff Climber!

A much more sedate day today which started slowly for two of us and with much more of a cold shock for the surfers. When they did return, they were full of tales of being battered by the waves!

After a leisurely breakfast, we took a drive to Solva for a potter and a look round the harbour. It was rather grey and so photo opportunities were limited. We procured locally caught crab for supper and  some lunch time provisions.

The laziest of afternoons by the fire was eventually broken by Poet Girl's suggestion that we hit the coast path. We walked round to the nearest beach and wave watched instead of scaring ourselves by watching her climb rock faces!

We definitely felt energised by our scramble and had built up an appetite for the traditional holiday supper cooked by Him Outdoors. The consensus was that it was his best yet!
