Entertainment...

This was my entertainment today in the office. We have the painters in doing the windows. Clearly they assume that our old sash and case windows are soundproof. Alas not! Do you know, this boy takes an hour and a half to get ready for work in the mornings. And that's just getting his food ready for the day and having breakfast. Not including having a shower. I refrained from putting him to shame by telling him I can do it in 20 minutes and that includes ironing my clothes. Bless... they made me laugh a lot, not that they knew I was there till one of them came in to shut the windows. The girl chat was phenomenal! I almost can't wait for tomorrow... almost!

I finally raked out my house insurance info to check that my camera is insured when I'm out and about. When I count it all up, my handbag is worth too much to tell you quite a lot as I wander about with it every day. Thankfully I'm covered for loss and damage but I'm not convinced if I drop my camera in the sea for example, it would be covered. I should probably ask for a copy of the small print.

Now I'm trying to pack for my weekend. I thought I was getting good at travelling light. I'm not. I went to the supermarket on the way home from my folks having borrowed a sleeping bag, to buy ingredients for chocolate brownies. That's tomorrow night's activity sorted.

Today was a better day. Having something spontaneous to look forward to has lifted my mood no end. Also, knowing that I'll be spending the weekend with Nicki and Chris it can't be anything other than brilliant.
